In 1996, I started teaching public speaking college courses, and coaching competitive college speech teams. As a young professor, I knew that if I was going to have any success at all as a public speaking instructor, I needed to make overcoming the fear of public speaking not only the first priority with all of my classroom teaching, but also with my competitive speech coaching.   Everybody, to varying degrees, suffers from the fear of public speaking.

I've since become a full time professor, the director of one of the most successful college speech teams in the history of the activity, and have also created a speech training service that caters to the public speaking needs of working professionals. I have helped thousands learn to overcome their fear of public speaking, by learning how to most effectively manage their anxiety.   I do not offer any hocus-pocus, but rather solid and very practical tools for dealing with communication apprehension.

You cannot get rid of the butterflies in your stomach... but you can get them to fly the direction you want them to fly - if you acknowledge your challenge and actively address it. With very practical exercises and guidance I can help you turn your public speaking fear into positive energy that will enhance all of your presentations, as well as make you truly confident!

Whether you call it public speaking fear, glossophobia, public speaking anxiety, or even public speaking apprehension - you don't need expensive therapy sessions! You just need to acknowledge your challenge, and take the proactive steps to dealing with it.

With the proper training, you can stand up and deliver a presentation with confidence. A small investment of your time will pay a lifetime of dividends. No longer will the thought of presenting to colleagues and strangers  cause you to break out in a sweat or lose sleep.

I promise, I can help you overcome your public speaking fear.
